The 13th Joint Industry Outreach Seminar on Strategic Trade Management

Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and Singapore Customs will be organising a one-day strategic trade control seminar on 4 November 2025.
The event will feature experts and practitioners of strategic trade and export control, including Government representatives who will be providing regulatory updates. Additionally, speakers will present on compliance challenges and best practices, current threats, and due diligence.
Manufacturers, exporters, logistics providers, freight forwarders, academics and researchers dealing with strategic goods or strategic goods technology are encouraged to attend the seminar.
Registration for the in-person seminar is now closed. Due to overwhelming response, a virtual session will be available. Participants may register for the virtual session by clicking on the registration link and enter the passcode JIO2025. The deadline for the virtual registration is 25 October 2025.
