The 12th Joint Industry Outreach Seminar on Strategic Trade Management

The U.S. Department of State (DOS), the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), the U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC), and Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and Singapore Customs will be organising a one-day strategic trade control seminar on 29 October 2024.
The event will feature speakers from the government sector representing Germany, India, Japan, Malaysia, the European Union, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and the United States as well as industry experts to discuss about strategic trade and export control matters. This includes topics such as regulatory updates, compliance challenges and best practices, current threats, and due diligence.
Manufacturers, exporters, logistics providers, freight forwarders, academics and researchers dealing with strategic goods or strategic goods technology are encouraged to attend the seminar.
Registration for the in-person seminar is now closed. Due to overwhelming response, there will be a virtual session for the seminar. Participants can register for the virtual seminar by clicking on the registration link and entering the passcode JIO2024.
